Six Reasons to Visit the Holiday Open House
Tomte time is upon us, and we are really excited about it.
As we prepare for our Holiday Open House next weekend, we thought we should document exactly why we're feeling so ecstatic this early.
Here are six reasons why:
1. We're adding new tomtar to our collection
Tomtar exude holiday happiness, and they serve as both quintessential Scandinavian gifts and holiday decor. We know of someone whose collection spans two 6-foot Ikea bookcases.

2. Complimentary coffee and cookies
We've got coffee from our friends at River Rock Coffee and pepparkakor for you to enjoy as you take a look around and start collecting decor and gift ideas. Feel free to refill as many times as you want.
3. Decor and gift ideas galore
Speaking of gathering decor and gift ideas, make sure you have your smartphone camera at the ready! You'll want to document all of the ideas you find.
4. New Dale of Norway
Our collection of Dale of Norway sweaters, scarves, hats and shawls is ever growing! Apparently we're going to need all of the warm layers we can get this year. If you're interested on the best way to layer for winter, read more on the Scandinavian art of layering here.
5. It's the perfect time to get head start
Say "so long" to last minute, frantic shopping trips this year. Our staff THRIVES on being able to help you find the best gifts for those who matter most. We'll do everything we can to make sure your gift says the right thing.
If you're getting a surprise gift for someone who is with you, we've got secret ways of wrapping so they won't notice a thing. All you need to do is let our staff know.
6. We've got expanded hours so you can shop on your schedule
In addition to being the most wonderful time of the year, we also know that it can be one of the most stressful times of year. That's why we're expanding our hours so you can get more things done on your own time. Here's what our hours will look like Nov. 1 until Christmas Eve:
Monday - Friday: 9:30am - 6:00pm
Saturday: 9:30am - 5:30pm
Sunday: 12:00pm - 4:00pm
If you want to make it to the Holiday Open House but life gets in the way, fear not! We will be showcasing and streaming all of our favorite gifts and decor on Facebook and Instagram all weekend long.
